When we renovated the house two years ago, my wife, who had the concept of "I want to make a cool house," asked me, "Do you want to display a guitar on the wall?" However, even if she told me at the meeting stage before completion, I couldn't imagine it and it would be expensive. So I didn't think that far.
So I just leaned one guitar against a normal guitar stand, but recently, the desire to do so suddenly became stronger, so I looked into it. After all, YouTube is the quickest way to find out about something these days.
It's called a "guitar hanger." There are various types on the market, but the one I often saw was "without drilling holes in the wall," and I understand why many people think that.
That's the most important thing, but all of them require DIY, such as "buying tension rods and wood at a home improvement store and attaching ready-made products." That would be troublesome and would cost too much money.
I currently have a guitar stand under the loft, and I thought, "It would look good if I hung it next to it and lined it up," but I could hang it from the loft without using nails or screws... Is there such a convenient way?
I suddenly thought, "Since this is my first attempt, a mini guitar would be fine," and when I searched for one for a ukulele, I found one easily???? It's a clip-on type and is reasonably priced. ,
But then I thought, "A mini guitar would be fine," so I searched YouTube again. Then I saw a lot of videos about trying things out with things sold at 100 yen shops, so I continued my search. Then I found the decisive thing❗️
It's a great product called "Easy Twist-Stop Soft Wire" sold at DAISO. It's a product for the purpose shown in the photo, with a thick rubber core and an iron core that makes it easy to bend. This won't put any strain on the wood of the loft, and it's 50 cm long, so it should be sturdy enough to attach.
So I bought it the day before yesterday and installed it. I thought about it for a few hours, but it took me five minutes to finish this DIY project (^_^;) Even after two full days, there's no sign of the part that's clamped moving out of place.
I tried lowering the Casino as well, but it didn't seem to fall at all... It was 110 yen for two, so next time I have the chance, I'd like to try an experiment to see how durable the acoustic guitar and Casino are. I might feel even richer if I get another one lined up (^o^)/ The Telecaster is heavy, so it's probably dangerous (^◇^;) That's all for the story of how scary DAISO is ♬
