Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

shark-av2501ae-ai-robot-vacuum-with-xl-hepa-self-empty-base-bagless-60-day-capacity-lidar-navigation-perfect-for-pet-hair-compatible-with-alexa-wi-fi-connected-carpet-hard-floor-black-54-medium.jpgThe Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first best robot vacuum for vinyl plank floors to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly without leaving any trace that was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has a sleek, top piece that looks like toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, although not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs, which makes it a good robot vacuum option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this Robot Sweeper easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place it can be done with relative ease. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, however it can help you effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are among the top available - but it's also pricey.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also unable to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning area for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, simply connect one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app takes you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to amazon robot vacuum Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The main characteristic that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. If it requires a recharge, it will automatically return to its starting point and begins cleaning where it started.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 however, is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
