As the name suggests, GE's Profile series is targeted at those who want to incorporate cutting-edge technologies in their kitchen. This fridge is loaded with them all including a Keurig K cup coffee maker inside the door to a sophisticated dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. The refrigerator is expensive and I expected more.

Aside from that blip the fridge is a great choice. It has a huge freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth integrated french door fridge freezer-door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food items compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is the standard for a fridge with a french door fridge with plumbed ice and water door at this price. It also has a decent-sized icemaker that is tucked away in the left door, but it's not the largest I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a an individual storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting is an appealing touch. The storage bins in the door have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers have temperature controls, so you can set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their textured plastic coatings a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you would expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and has a ton of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked as well as when the freezer or fridge must be defrosted and when the filter needs to be changed.

It is nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is a feature available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to choose the amount of cups they wish to pour out. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer and two compressors to preserve food items. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of ice with a low water usage. This refrigerator is ideal for a single family or kitchenette that needs a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to avoid the risk of a freezer burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, reaching the desired initial set temperature within an hour and maintaining the temperature constant over the course of our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for top-of-the-line appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is costly however, it offers excellent features and capabilities at a fair price.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the fridge. It has a small shelf space, which means you may need to be creative when storing tall objects. Additionally the shelves aren't completely sprillproof, and can easily be stained or damaged by sharp objects. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great choice for those who need plenty of space in a small frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door and two rows of shelves that capture spills and a set crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more headroom. There's also a full-width drawer for food items and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker making it easy to move the frozen ice as needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It also has a large bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items as well as an additional container for storing ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your fridge and manage it, especially when you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily improve the efficiency of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to chill food and defrost it than other models we tried. This is likely due to its greater capacity.

The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front that allow smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, but they're still difficult for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been better if they had a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX Fridge French door ice maker is an excellent choice for those who want to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with a more efficient design. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also less expensive than the best french door fridge with ice and water dispenser counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a great option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire french door fridge with ice maker in freezer door refrigerator is a good option when you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a minimalist design that isn't as striking in appearance like some of the competitors, but it has enough features to make it a solid option. Its most important feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser and a decent ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located above the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer allows you to direct some of your fridge's cooling power to the area so it can be used to store food items which need extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. It is also possible to use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge however, I've found that changing the general settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

In my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the fridge didn't differ much from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
